Exploring Desynthesis: Endwalker Extremes

Greetings, Adventurers o/

In continuation of our desynthesis exploration, let's dive into the exhilarating realm of making gil with your newfound desynthesis skills. This week, our focus sharpens on the current endgame content, where players still venture for coveted mounts and glamorous items. We're talking about the Extreme Trials series, featuring iconic encounters like Hydaelyn and Zodiark. Here's your roadmap to farming their equipment drops for desynthesis, unlocking their materials used for crafting housing items, chocobo bardings, and occasionally, rare minions—all of which command a premium on the market.

Pro Tip: Don't need the mount? Utilize totems to procure additional weapons for desynthesis.

Hydaelyn’s Call - The Divine Symphony

As one of the initial Endwalker extremes, Hydaelyn's Call bestows weapons ripe for desynthesis, yielding the coveted Crystal of Divine Light. Ensure your desynthesis level for the relevant crafters is at 580 for the optimum chance at obtaining this sought-after material. The Crystal of Divine Light, in turn, serves as the crafting foundation for the Trophy of Divine Light and the resplendent Barding of Divine Light.

Zodiark’s Fall - Eternal Darkness Descends

In tandem with Hydaelyn, Zodiark's Fall delivers accessories ready for desynthesis, unveiling the precious Crystal of Eternal Darkness. Ensure your desynthesis levels for the relevant crafters reach 580 for an increased shot at obtaining this valuable material. The Crystal of Eternal Darkness crafts the Trophy of Divine Light and the darkly enchanting Barding of Eternal Darkness.

Endsinger’s Aria - Crafting Crescendos

Released post-launch and inspired by the final boss of the MSQ, Endsinger’s Aria drops weapons requiring a desynthesis level of 595 in the relevant crafters. These weapons yield the coveted Blue Feather, a material essential for crafting the captivating Bluefeather Astrolabos housing item and the stylish Bluefeather Barding.

Storm’s Crown - Windswept Wonders

The inaugural extreme in the void storyline introduces Barbariccia, whose weapons, requiring a desynth level of 615, unlock the elusive Pearl of Winds. This precious material crafts the Storm’s Crown Sword Stand housing item, the Windswept Barding, and a delightful new minion, the Wind-up Barbariccia.

Mount Ordeals - Flame-Fueled Fortunes

Venturing further into the void storyline, the second extreme featuring Rubicante drops weapons requiring a desynth level of 625. This unlocks the potential to obtain the Pearl of Flames, crucial for crafting the Flamecloaked Barding and the formidable Infernal Archfiend Cloak.

Voidcast Dais - Embracing Darkness

Golbez himself graces us with a challenging battle, dropping weapons for desynthesis in pursuit of the Voidcast Pauldrons. To maximize your chances, elevate your desynth level to 645. The Voidcast Pauldrons become the core crafting materials for the Eventide Sword Stand and the enigmatic Voidcast Barding.

Abyssal Fracture - Diving into Darkness

The final Extreme in Endwalker, Abyssal Fracture, demands the pinnacle of desynthesis skills with a requirement of 655. For those who dare, the Abyssal Diamond awaits, unlocking the crafting possibilities of the Abyssal Barding and the mesmerizing Abyssal Wings Display.
