Unlocking the Faerie Mount: A Comprehensive Guide
In the Aloalo Variant Dungeon, embarking on the quest to unlock the coveted Faerie Mount requires navigating through twelve distinct paths. Follow this guide to ensure success!
Left Paths
Path 1: Choose the left path and progress until you face the first boss. Continue until Matsya expresses a desire to fish. Advise Matsya to press on without casting a line. Along the way, you will encounter a lalafell surrounded by adversaries. Do not help the lalafell, leave him to his fate.
Path 3: Opt for the left path and proceed past the initial boss encounter. Permit Matsya to indulge in some fishing. Following a cutscene, an alternative path will reveal itself. When Matsya seeks bait, scour the sands to continue the fishing expedition.
Path 4: Follow the left path and proceed beyond the first boss. Allow Matsya to fish, triggering a cutscene and opening the alternative route. When Matsya searches for bait, investigate the rocks.
Middle Paths
Path 5: Select the middle path and journey until you confront the first boss. Post-battle, you will encounter a group of enemies, including leeches and a tree. Exercise caution and avoid killing them near the sigil. Press forward to successfully complete this path.
Path 6: Much like the previous path, navigate past the initial boss and ensure the enemies are dispatched away from the sigil. Look out for bushes adorned with red flowers. Enter these bushes to encounter armadillos. Approach them to spook them. Locate to such red-flowered bushes with armadillos to progress.
Path 7: Choose the middle path and continue beyond the first boss. Confront the group of enemies comprising leeches and a tree on top of the sigil. Ensure the tree dies first, as eliminating it later may result in the sigil's absorption. Subsequently, vanquish the leeches to unveil a concealed path. Traverse it until you encounter a Miqo'te behind wooden golems. Be cautious not to provoke the Miqo'te, so that she can activate the golems. Dispatch them before continuing.
Path 8: Mirroring Path 7, this time interact with the Miqo'te, preventing her from activating the wooden golems. She will alert you that she has been spotted, sparing you a battle. Continue to conclude this path.
Right Paths
Path 9: Choose the right path and follow it beyond the first boss until you reach a dead end. A faerie will manifest, choose the first option to assist her. Proceed to complete this path.
Path 10: Similar to path 9, journey to the dead end. Engage in dialogue with the faerie and persistently decline to help her until she relents. Matsya will unveil a new path. Follow it while bypassing any chests. Press forward to finalize this path.
Path 11: Progress until the end, repeatedly denying assistance to the faerie. Interact with the chests this time. Proceed forward to complete this path.
Path 12 (Secret Path): Choose the right path and continue until you hit the dead end. Engage the faerie in conversation and persistently refuse to aid her until she vanishes. This prompts Matsya to reveal the new path. Disregard any chests and venture into the room with the three statues.
Emote with 3 Statues
Sparrow Statue: /Say “O Dancer of the skies, hear me.”
This will give you a buff. While this buff is active you want to /blow kiss.
After, run clockwise around the statues. Once returned to the plate in front of
the sparrow /dance.
Whale Statue: /Say “O messenger from beyond the horizon,
hear me. This will give you a buff. While this buff is active, run clockwise
around the statues, and then run counterclockwise. Once back in front of the
statue /dance.
Turtle Statue: /Say “O wayfarer of land and sea, hear
me. This will give you a buff, run counterclockwise twice around the statues.
Once back in front of the statue /bow.
If these are done correctly, the statues will glow and a new
path will open.
Continue forward until you encounter enemies. Within this group, locate the looter (the Roe from the first boss). Prioritize eliminating the looter and ensure you loot the sack he drops.
There are three pedestals you will pass. Place the statues in the order of Sparrow, Whale, Turtle. Progress through the path, confronting the final secret boss.
